Why are FSF tv frames so much less than our competitors?

The short answer is “we don’t know?”.  We just don’t think a custom tv frame should cost upwards of $2,000.00.  We don’t even know how that’s possible.  But rest assured, we would never think about charging that much for a tv frame.

Since we prefer to frame out our tv’s without mats, we are quite a bit lower than the others.  In our opinion, $1,700 for a tv frame is just ridiculous.  You’ll end up paying a lot more for the frame than you did the tv itself.  And there’s something just not right about that.  Plus, an HDTV already comes with a natural black mat in most cases around the screen.  So why compound the issue with an added mat?  In most cases, competitors use the mats to cover up discrepancies as it relates to your actual frame.  In other words, if you wanted to sell stock tv frames at a certain size, you can make up the difference with a mat to cover the space around the tv.  You may want a 42″ tv frame.  But you get a 50″ tv frame with the difference covered in a mat and get told that’s how it’s supposed to be.  We don’t like that.  Instead, we customize EACH tv frame to EACH specific tv.  There are thousands of different sizes of tv’s and setups.  All of which are unique to each customer’s tv.  We think the tv frame should be unique to YOUR tv as well and fit properly.  Which is why we do EVERY tv frame custom to your setup and tv.

We are also a little different when it comes to the depth of your tv.  A lot of companies will give you a frame that simply covers the front side of the tv, and gives no attention to the actual sides and depth of the tv.  So you end up having a regular picture frame with no depth and no cover on the edges.  What we do is take the same material as used on the front, and wrap the entire tv with it.  This gives it a finished look and stays away from the other tv frames out there that look as though they are taped to the front of your tv screen.  We actually work off of your tv model number.  Normally we can get the depth from that and manufacture the frame to the same depth as the tv.  So from the sides, you don’t see tv.  You see beautiful frame.  The way it should be.

We ship you your frame, you put it up and your done.  That’s the truth.  There’s no having to hide wires for IR repeater systems.  There’s no installing another 110 outlet to handle another power source like the repeater system.  There’s absolutely no matting or obstruction on the frame that can alter the performance of your tv.  IE: The sound quality or making buttons impossible to access.  We don’t want our clients to have to worry about any of the “extra” that comes along with the more expensive framing companies.  This should be an enjoyable and exciting purchase.  One that won’t put a massive dent in your wallet.  And we vow to keep it that way.  Beautiful tv frames, easy installs, and fair prices.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the differences in flat screen tv frames, please don’t hesitate to contact us (info@flatscreenframing.com).  We would be more than happy to explain the differences from company to company, and go over any sort of options you might be interested in.  If we can’t help you, we will direct you to another company who can.
